This is a thread to discus what discs you like to throw or to find out what other players use.

Robert, now that you have all this plastic to sell, would you be interested in running a weekly mini? $5 a head and you could payout the top 1/3. I think james already has a buttload of scorecards made up that i am sure he would give you. I think we could, at the least, pull 6-7 people out there on a weekday evening. Let that marinate on your brain for awhile and let me know what you think and/or what you are able to do time/day wise.

Thats right, For all the local players looking for a place to get new plastic without having to go to H-Town, order them online or Pay the high price at the only local store. Look me up, send me a private message or post here and we will get you hooked up. Thanks

The KC Pro Roc is the bread and butter of my approach game and even some drives. The harder plastic helps it keep its stability longer than a regular Roc. Don't get me wrong, an aged, understable Roc can be nice. I just like how the KC Pro Roc ages more slowly, thus adding more predictability.
Too bad all of the models I've seen only come in white. I've been forced to have to color the top of it in a whirled pattern with a red permanent marker. That way I can see it when it lands on the white rocks that are common in courses I play.
I was amused the other day when someone pointed out that I was throwing a peppermint.

Peppermint roc.
I roll my roc "Rolling Roc" that might look kinda cool rolling down the fairway. It is ashame that the KC discs only come in white.

I have 2 types of Roc, a Super Roc which you cant get anymore, and a new KC Pro Roc
The Super Roc is one of my favorite discs. It has all of the flight characteristics of a Roc but glides to give you much more distance with less effort on the throw.
The KC Pro Roc, I only use whenever I have a drive that is a little far out of my KC Pro Aviar's range. Both of these discs fly pretty much the same, for me anyway. The Roc will go farther than the aviar though because of the slight glide advantage it has over the Aviar. It isn't nearly as consistant on the straight flight as the Aviar though.

i have but one roc, and i don't use it that often. i still haven't figured out exactly what it'll be good for in my game. but as far as putt and approach, i like the z-putt'r. keeps a good line for approach, and doesn't have much in the way of wind drag. can putt well even in high wind.
I use the KC Pro ROC occasionally, mostly for long puts.
in my bag I carry:
Soft Rhyno (175g) (love it)
*Aviar DX (166g) (Need to learn it, I suck at putting)
Gazelle DX (175g) (very controllable)
Eagle DX (175g) (predictable fade, nice to get around corners)
LS Polaris Pro (175g) (very straight)
Valkyrie Pro (175g) (a little too fast, but I'm learnin')
Roc Pro (178g) (stable and accurate)
Dragon Pro (150g) (glides like a dream)
Beast Pro (162g) (a little fast but useful)
Cheetah DX (175g) (straight with a highspeed turnover, it's old)
*Archangel DX (175g) (My first disk, useful now and then)
Gremlin Pro (175g) (predictable hyzer, nice roll)
TL [Custom] Pro (175g) (paid $23 [fund raiser] so I better use it)
