Playing on the single largest card in local history, Ruf Dog smashed an Ace on Saturday to take home the accumulated league Ace Pot, which he split with his doubles partner. He and James took home a nice bit of Christmas cash.
The shot was a perfect throw, a lazer straight line drive right down the gut with an orange, champion, PI mosquito stamped TL. It struck the chains slight right of center and plopped down into the basket as Rufus bellowed; the rest of us were caught in a mosh as he did the bushwacker stomp through the crowd, hunting us each down in turn. Silently, I prayed he wouldn't find a jawbone on the ground during the commotion and lay waste to the lot of us in his frenzy.
