Hey whats up ,
I am a old school player from when the course was first installed.My old school buddies and I are trying to get started again and wanted info on when people are playing these day , tourney play, and how league works

The next league starts on Wednesday September 1st, at 6:00pm on Pleasure Island

We pay out our top division (gold) in cash top 50% of field, (green) Discs at 60% of field, (blue) Discs to 75% of field, and (purple) pays 100% of field evenly.

If you go to the message board in the League's thread you can see the results from previous leagues and how they payed out if you are interested in that type of thing.

We generally have 20 to 25 people in the leagues and the divisions are broken up to keep things very competitive.

Our current league finishes up this Wednesday at Klein Park in Beaumont at 6:00pm. We welcome people who aren't in the league to come out and play with us and will mix you up on cards with in league players if you like. Hope to see ya out there this week.

Old school..... I was out there the week after Pleasure Island was installed..... I hope you get a chance to come out and shoot some rounds with us.

Like Tommy posted, we have a solid base of players that come out and play every week. That doesnt include the Number of casual players that are out there that cant play in league or do not feel they are ready or flat just do not want to play. A few weeks we have had our league going ( 25 players) and there were still 10 more disc golfers out playing.


Incase you are wondering about the colors for the divisions. We made them so that everyone in ach division has a chance to compete for the lead every week.

Thanks for the info guys I played for first time in about 9 or 10 years this past friday 36 holes and was ready saturday to play again ended up playing 72 holes and came back for 36 more on sunday trying to shake off the rust.I am in the process of get some of my old buds back into it and some new players from work started. Probably wont be able to make it wednesday but would like to check into league events.
