B-tier PDGA Sanctioned

Houston Disc Golf Tour cordially invites all competitors to play the Bayou City Open. This will be a great opportunity to sample the new and improved Powell course at Tom Bass Regional Park. All competitors will have opportunity to play both courses (Powell and Wilmont) three rounds of golf. We will open any PDGA-recognized division if four entrants register (two or more for women and juniors). Good luck and have fun.

Schedule: Friday-Check in and bring your partner doubles; flex tee time starting at 4:00 pm; $20 per team. Saturday-Late registration will be taken until 8:45 am. Player’s meeting at 9:00 am and 1st round tee off at 9:30 am. 2nd Round tee off at 2:00 pm. Sunday- Tee off at 8:00 am. Final nine for the top 4 open and top 4 advanced players will follow and award ceremony after final 9.

By entering in the 1st Annual Bayou City Open Disc Golf tournament you agree to abide by all the rules and conditions of the event. The decisions of the tournament directors will be final. I am not going to make it to this tourney. Not because I dont want to however, but because there is no way in hell my arm would last for 2 days of play. It can barely last through a round and a half before it is dead.

Maybe in a few months I might be able to do a 2 day event though. Hopefully we will send quite a few people from this area over and take all your plastic home :D

KIm.. I posted a flyer at pleasure island this afternoon.. some people were looking it over so we will see. Unfortunately my son's birtday is next weekend and my duties are here.... Wish i could be there tho. Next Time for sure BUT spreading the word on this side for now...

I thought it was just the guys i played with in corpus last weekend but this afternoon i played with a group of 9 people and ( besides myself) 6 of them had not seen the new discs.
