Check out this map site from Microsoft it's the best out there that I have found.

type in an address or navigate to wherever you want then click the "Bird's Eye View" from the top of the map.
You can then rotate the view left or right on the left hand side of the map with the rotation arrows.
There is also a program you can install similar to Google Earth that accesses these photos. I could see a really nice looking map being made using this from someone who has good photoshop skills. You can also use it to spy on your neighbors!
I know the picture of my house is a little over a year old but is pretty cool to see for sure.
