what is considered out of bounds? I know surrounded by water is a 1 stroke penalty, and played from the closest point on land. And on #2 the cables are the OB line and the disc plays from the point it went out with a 1 stroke penalty.

But I'm wondering about crossing water and roads. At Klein, on #7 I've heard it is OB when you land across the water on the other side. But is it legal to play down the left side of the creek on Tyrrell #4, crossing the water on your second shot? Same thing on #15? What about if your disc falls across (not in) the road on #3 or #17? Do you play it where it lies, or from the point it crossed with a penalty?

ALL of the park boundry cable is Ob throughout the park. If your disc is fully behind the cable any place on the course you take your next shot from the LAST SPOT that your disc was inbounds with one penalty stroke. As far as concrete(streets or parking lot) if you are surrounded by concrete OR beyond the concrete you are Ob and play it from where it last went out with a one stroke penalty(#3 you would have already been OB outside the cable anyway).

Ditches are NOT OB at Tyrrell, only being completly surrounded by water in them is.

At Klein landing on the other side of the ditch IS Ob(with the exception of holes 4 and 18 where the hole plays across). The ditch behind #7 at Klein is also OB if you land beyond it , the reason being that is NOT part of the park across the ditch. The Reason across the main ditch is OB on some holes is to help avoid poeple playing into another holes fairway.

Sounds complicated but there is reasons for all these things, mainly safety and staying within the park itself.
