I'm starting a new thread because the old one is getting tooooo long.
Since this is the first post I'll post a little background info.
Rounds are recorded and rated for every singles game logged as a club run event. Ratings are kept separate for 1) Klein short tee's, 2) Klein white/ mixed/ or alternating tee's, 3) Klein Blue tee's, 4) Pleasure Island, and eventually 5) Claibourne Park. The last six rounds for each course will be kept for each player. Handicap will generally be determined by the rating for the course being played. Handicap is based on 80% of the true handicap, to give the higher rated players a fair chance at winning. 1000 rated players, or 0 handicappers will not go into the negative, meaning, a 0 is the lowest handicap you can get. There will never be a negative handicap. This is like bowling, where, once your a scratch player (aka pro player, or above 1000 rated player) your handicap will remain at 0 no matter how much better than "1000" you average.
If you have any questions, post up.
