Anyone going to be out at the course this weekend? I am wanting to go play sometime sat or sun hell or both.

Yes, i will be playing if the weather holds good. hell, even if it rains a little.
i was out on the course today, about twenty minutes ago in fact. right now, at this very moment, the grass is being cut at berry's treasure! Praise the Workers, the grass is being cut. mosquitos are nill (but the wind was high). leave me a message, i'll be checking it sometime around 2-3am tonight. we'll put something together.

Ransom: i guess as it looks we will start having a weeknight mini on wednesday starting this week, since they mowed ( Thanks REID) i will post a flyer for sure and post it here on the main page..... Sorry I didn't realize til now that you wanted to start the mini.

Since this is the only thing i have seen about it then i will assume that it is NOT on for this week???

I did not get the scorecards from James but I can send you a file via e-mail with generic scorecards that you can print. But if it is not on today then I will just wait and get the ones James already has on card stock.

Let me know something.

Side Note: I think I am actually going to go play DG today. Have only played 3 times in the last 2 1/2 weeks but I will still destroy anyone that challenges me :P

problem is it rained alot today so you wont see me braving it. Next wednesday is the day he was thinking about starting the weekly mini. I'm sure sportznut will post some detailis about it and submit calendar events for it on the main page.

Well, i saw daddyjoel out there today. for about fifteen seconds as he was driving away. i played a round anyway, beating my personal best of +4 by one stroke. *grumble* hole 14.... wish more had been out there

Thanks for the replys. My phone had a very spotty signal, so my idea of AIM for communication didn't work very well, but I did recieve messages from Tomwin, Sportznut, and Ransom. I took the wife and kids out to Pleasure Island around 10am on Sunday with a big can of deet. Nice course! I shot a 52. Bogied 3, bird on 2, 13, 18. Should have had 3, but the family was in the fairway on the approach, and I decided to loft it over them instead of asking them to move. Saw Ransom pull up as we were driving off, and got his message about 10 min later.

I'll make sure to post earlier next time I am headed that way. With the family my time is fairly well accounted for, but sometimes miracles happen and I can bust free!

If any of you are ever in Austin, give me a call or e-mail and I will try to hook up with you for a round.

Joel, I am so glad you enjoyed the course. You SE Texans should know something about Joel. He and his contribution to promoting disc golf in Austin and Central Texas on the web is well known and appreciated. We've corresponded and collaborated many times in the past.

His Central Texas Disc Golf Love (http://www.centxdglove.com) website has helped countless people learn about the courses in the region. If you guys ever want to take the four hour trip to Central Texas and Austin, learn about the courses from his website. Those course maps sure do come in handy too because many Austin area courses are a bit tricky to navigate.

Give me or Joel a holler should you guys come this way. We may be able to join in on a round or two.

Been playing for over 6 years now and have yet to goto Austin and play. The closest i got was the Snowfarm.

It may be about that time to make that road trip. Not sure if I will do it for Outlaws or just make it a DG adventure and try to play as many courses as possible. I think I will try to do it as soon as possible because that trip is well over due.
