Crushed my "leafy" Orc straight and low through the center gap of trees and landed 50-60 ft. from the basket. I knew the putt was in the moment it left my hand. It felt great! I also birdied #2 the same round. I know several people have made deuce on #13. Please add to this list; Tim, Matt, ??? Also, who has birdied #5 at Klein, #1 at Tyrrell, #3 at Tyrrell? Who will be the first to birdie every hole at Klein???

I think there are a few of us that are only being held back from birdying everything at Klein by hole #4.

Well maybe not, I know that I was the first to birdy #5 and I know Keith has done it. Not sure if anyone else has locally(one pro at the GCCS event did birdy it). Hole 13 I have birdied a few times and I know Keith has a few times also. Ray, Derrick and Matt have all birdied it and surely Tommy has also.

Number 1 at Tyrrell is hardly a huge accomplishment. Someone birdies that everytime I play there. Number 3 I believe Tommy park jobbed that one the first ever round played out there the day we put it in. I have seen Matt and Keith also birdy it.

Also Matt Schion is the only person I know to have birdied every hole at Pleasure Island in every pin position, which is pretty incredible.
Personally I have birdied every pin position except for 5 long and 14 long.

I wanna birdie, anyone up for showing an out of towner the new layout of Tyrell this weekend? I should probably stay home and work on 10 foot putts to be honest, but then that would actually improve my game and I am not interested in that,.

hey Matchu.....

you dont need to work on your 10 foot putts, you need to putt at better baskets... lol

you drilled the put on the 2'nd hole at Pecan, and it spit out the other side.

there's nothing you can do about that except put at basket with real chains

drop me an email or PM me... I'll take ya out there, and you need to play Klein too, just right down the road

By the way, this is DUSTIN, me and Kevin (Cypress Trout) played with you the very first round at Pecan

I made another birdie on #13 on Tuesday. This time my drive landed 6 ft. in front of the basket. #5 is going down soon!!! Been too windy lately. Grass is freshly cut again, though.

is 5 the long hole that is sort of open? I think the holes yells roller roller, throw a roller?

I can here it now....lol

If you are not throwing rollers on that hole then you are missing a great opp to learn how to roll far and accurate. Waste of time trying to air it there imo

I agree Fuzzy. Roller there for maximum distance and possible birdie.

then it is a drop in for an ace right?

Drop in for an ace would be a four foot hole. I think #5 at Klein would be close to the same distance as #5 at the Island. An ideal route would be to throw a low line drive to the right of the trees at Klein and have the disc fade towards the hole. On #5 at the Island it would be ideal to go over the hill and then fade left. That would take an incredible amount of snap, spin, and speed. The shot on #18 during the skins at Pecan Park thrown by Robbie Bratten would've made both those angles--easily!!! If you saw it you'd know.

mmmmaybe, he probably would have gotten caught up in the trees to the right. ofcourse, somehow he got through all those trees at Pecan, I say somehow! truly amazing, I think I would have had a better time caddying for someone. Is #5 at the island the hole that is long and to the right up a small hill? help me visualize from a far land

Hole #5 is the hole that goes up and over the big hill. The basket is blind from the tee on the other side of the hill.

to the right gradually? last time I played was when I met up with you and Matt at Tyrell with the wwwanker dud

fuzzy

To the left gradually. The hole i believe is like 450 feet. Your second shot is normally a 100-125 blind hyzer over the hill

Thanks to the Port Arthur guys for comin' out to Klein the past couple of days. We've had some good disc golf action. We played some doubles today and my partner Eric Marroquin and I birdied #13. I put my drive around 80 ft. out and Eric sank a long one. I hear Fuzzy made a killer jump putt on 2 yesterday!
