I'll definately be there, I really like MacGregor cause its EASY


This is a great course for new people, REC players and Intermediate players.

It is NOT a long course. Great for people with good upshots. Half the holes your just upshoting from the tee. I think MacGregor is like an easy Klein.


Gimp puts on a good tourney, there will be plenty of competition and lots of new plastic to choose from.

Still undecided...There is an off chance I could be going to DFW to play some golf all weekend(prob not) but I do know that there is a handful of peeps from here planning to attend. I may catch a ride that way with someone if I stick around for the weekend.

Dustin, you'll get a rating on Monday. I predict it will be between 880-890. Let's see if Fuzzy is right that I'll still be below 875. I just know they are double counting some rounds. Playing ball golf at 3 p.m. Bayou Den. I shoot around 110. :cry:

Well, when I said that, they had not made public that they were going to start doubling everyones last 8 rounds and that they were adding .8 to the SSA of each course in the new update. But they are not dropping the worst 15% so I am still likely right. But if I am wrong it was only because of a technicality.

Dustin should be right at 900 btw, maybe a smidge more depending on what his last 8 rounds were according to my spreadsheet.(actually i think i saved that file that had all his rounds so i may do the doubling thing and see in a few minutes)

My rating I cannot even begin to calculate from memory. I have quite a few rounds that will drop off from being over 2 years old, then I have some dropping off that from being a year old since I have atleast 20 in the last 12 months. Then my PI scores are gonna get doubled BUT my GCCS final rounds will be too. Very confusing and it could go either way but I have a sneeking suspicion that I will jump to 915-916 just because that is how my life works.....lmao

Nevermind that file did not have Pecan or GCCS final in it. Dustin's rating all the way up to GCCS at Pleasure was 898 (unofficially). So I would imagine he will be there or better even though they are only using his last 3 or 4 events in his calculation. I dont think he has played worse in his last 3 tourneys then he did over the last year prior but I could be wrong.

Unconfirmed Update:

After round 1, DG was leading the Intermediate Division after shooting a smoking round of -7(47). No 21 hole layout today out there. Rumor was that DG had the low score of ALL the competitors at the event (yes including the ADV and Pros). Hopefully round 2 goes well also.

Just spoke w/ DG and he pwn3d the Int. division with( if I remember right) a -5 for the tourney.Also, second lowest score overall on the day. Way to go, man.

Congratulations on your play today, Dustin. Too bad this one wasn't sanctioned. I have only had 3 really good rounds in recent tournaments; 55 Pioneer, 54 Pleasure, and 63 Wilmont. Who knows, maybe I'll end up 873 and play some more Rec. Dustin, welcome back to some Klein whoop...!
