What should we focus our efforts / funds to do first?

I was thinking that we could put in some Red tees out at Pleasure island for around 20 bucks, you can get 1'x1'x4" blocks of concrete for around 1 buck a piece, Then we would need to get a little paint for the red color, some paint for the number of the hole on the block.

I know that we also need to get Tyrrell Park back into working condition. I have no idea what this is going to cost though we need to look into it also.

I think the first thing that needs to be done is to get a new basket in for #16 at Tyrrell. Then I would say a new Basket for #11 at Tyrrell. Whatever else after that is fine with me but I think those need to be done first so that Tyrrell is playable again.

Think that i posted somewhere else about the hole 16 replacement, and the 6 repair. However, we have a replacement for Hole 11 that is going to be going in sometime over the weekend most likely also. I have to go pick it up and go out and set it.

We might want to fill-in some of those ankle breaking holes through out the course on PI. The island's maint. department might have a sand pile we could use or maybe we could ask them to fill them in if we mark them. This is a safety concern because the holes are hidden in the tall grass.

No doubt. I know that is written on our unwritten list of to do things.(i know that didn't make sense but you know what i mean...lol)

BTW...we could just dig out some dirt from the ground in the sticks and just fill the holes with that.

Tommy we can buy the colored pavers then we would'nt need to paint them. Has anyone approached PI maint. dept. about some of our ideas. They may be able to help or give some input.

btw we replaced hole 11 at tyrrell park on saturday morning so all of the holes at tyrrell are playable again. We moved 11 back and to the left where we had it at the midweek mini.

I tried to play Tyrrell two years ago or so. It was in poor shape. A few weeks ago I discovered Klein and have played it several times. There are a few spots where Red Arrow Bricks are missing, but the course is easy to follow for a first timer.

Today I went back to Tyrrell and really had a hard time finding my way between holes. It's downright dissapointing. Some serious additions of Red Arrow Bricks, as well as re-placement of the Tee signs and Labeling of the baskets would be nice.

I've seen a bit of talk about getting together to work out some of these projects. Any current plans?

We did place Red arrow bricks at Tyrrell.... We used all the funds we were collecting on the instalation of klein... We just started our summer leagues but All the Money collected is going right back into the pay out.

The tractor mowers at tyrrell are not disc golf friendly. They have knocked down most of the tee signs and a couple of the baskets. We got tyrrell back up to playing shape last summer. Added a few baskets and moved them into more tractor friendly positions.

Come out and play with us next wednesday. Its the last week to sign up and play the ongoing league...

Hole 11 at tyrrell didn't have a red brick near the target, I guess I forgot to put one whenever we replaced the basket. I will try and get one out there soon. Hopefully sometime soon we will be replacing the tee signs with 4x4 posts like at klein, and soon we should get numbers put on the klein posts.

Hey Dustin, can you call the person up at the city and see about getting them to remove the fallen trees, logs, and other clusters of that type of thing. Especially the ones near the disc golf targets?

We went out there this morning, On hole 4 Robert throws a put which landed in the fallen tree crap that was to the right of the basket. The hole before he went near a log and I warned him to look out for snakes near the logs. On hole 4 he walks right in and damn near got bit by a snake. It was one of the funniest moments out on the course watching him try to get out of that tree cluster haha. He was running / stumbling out toward the basket and fell down on his way out. Good thing that snake was just as scared of him as he was of it.
