</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="pn-normal" align="left" valign="top"> This was a fairly eventful day. First off, once again we would like to thank the Divers Den in Nederland for Sponsoring the CTP. They are donating a disc a week for this competition, which was won by Scott Linthicum (Fuzzy).
We would like to again thank KFDM Channel 6 and Drue Barrilleaux (DJ107) for coming out and doing a story on Disc Golf. You have no idea what kind of impact getting Disc Golf on TV will do for our sport and our area.
Now... To the action
Today's round was played in one of the worst Mosquito Conditions you could imagine. The wind wasn't too bad as it started to get later but we were chewed up by the mosquitos.
We started to use our color coded divisions according to local player ratings (http://../modules.php?op=modload&name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=37), which will eventually allow you play with people in your division who shoot similar to what you do.
In the Gold division (local open):
Keith Vest ran away with it with a (48), Tommy Winfrey in second with (51). Close behind that was Jason Rainey (52), Scott Linthicum (53), Shane Landry (53) 1st $13, 2nd $7
In the Green division (Am):
Dave Estrada from www.pleasureislanddiscgolf.com (http://www.pleasureislanddiscgolf.com/) was in town and made a run at the local am division. Dustin Galamor held him off with a (55), Dave Estrada (56). Russell Gil finished with a (58) and Robert Winfrey shot a (59).
In our Blue division (Recreational):
Jonathan Ray (60) swatted mosquitos on his way to taking out Scot Wozniac (66)
No one hit the ace pot so it is at $22 and growing.
****Next week we will be in Tyrrell Park for July 23rd Wednesday Mini****
