</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="pn-normal" align="left" valign="top"> Today was the most successful Midweek Mini we have had to date. We had 18 competitors out at Pleasure Island with perfect conditions. No bugs, and low cut grass with little hay (Thanks city of Port Arthur for the mow and spray)
Our Divers Den closest To the Hole competition was on hole 18 for a Photon Glow Talon. Matt Schion parked one near the hole and won! Congrats Matt.
Please go in and say thanks to Divers Den on Twin City HWY in Nederland.
In the Gold Division Scott Linthicum went bogie free for a 47 and held off Jason Rainey (48) who's putt hit the bottom basket to get his only but costly bogie on Hole 5.
Our Green Division had a playoff between Jonathan Bargainer and James Rainey who both shot 55. On the first hole of the playoff Jonathan sunk a really long put for birdie to walk away with first prize. While Russell Gil (58) took home third.
In Blue, Kevin Gernentz (59) took first, second was Bryan Shoemaker(61), third Dale Stewart (62) and fourth David Schnadel (64).
No one was able to bag an Ace so the Ace pot is now up to $43.
Once again thank you all for coming out, and special thanks to Blake Rooney for driving in from Lousiana to play.
Next week will be at Pleasure Island.
