We need to fix Tyrrell up for the tourney. I need at least 10 people, hopefully 15 will show, to fix the course. That includes moving some Tee boxes, moving some baskets and painting all the tee post with their correct #'s. I have the paint needed to re#, we need some post hole diggers and some quickcrete. If you have any of these please bring them. See you Sunday.

I would suggest posting flyers about it at the courses. When we initially did the Tyrrell re-design we posted flyers and had alot of support, something like 22 people out there helping.

We've made some decisions on the alterations of the course. Overall, it is a little shorter (my legs are already feeling a little better) but we have also lenghthend a few holes as well as put some shorter holes in to make the course give a little more, but also take some back. Old old #17 is back!!! one of my favorite holes of all time. We have utilized the trees a little more for some shorter techniqual holes and added some lenght to old 13, it will now be around 720'. The marsh hole, for the most part is gone., though we use the uncut wet marsh area to serve as OB. We altered a few holes to guard the baskets a little more using some of the trees. We put alot of anhyzer and hyzer shots into play. We put hole # 2 back with a different line and basket placement, lengthened hole 3 and guarded the basket. I can't wait to play it. Sunday, lets work hard, knock it out and play a round.

It will be weird playing Tyrrell this week for league and then the "new" Tyrrell next week - very interesting!
Does anyone have a portable we can use for Thursday? I have one of those canvas types but i would prefer one closer to the normal baskets for league.
Also, I can only help until 5:00 pm Sunday. If you need me to be out there earlier, I can do that.

It will be a little weird. The changes will be enough that the 2nd round will be played pretty much blind by everyone.
