Klein Doubles Results--Sept. 13

There were 8 golfers out tonight for doubles at Klein. I suppose the flips worked out fairly. We looked at one possible unfair pairing but it didn't come up and we flipped as usual. Last week Dave Vance teamed up with Wes for the win to mine and James 2nd Place. This week the partners were switched up a bit as Vance and I teamed up on a card with Wes and James. Here are the results:

Neal & Vance--44 (with a bogey)
Dustin & Danny-- 46
Kenny & B. Jones--48
Wes & James--50

1st Place split $30 and 2nd Place split $10

Several players suggested that the "unusually rich" Ace Pot of $6 be carried over to our next doubles mini.

***NEXT 2 WEEKS** TYRRELL PARK--FLIP AT 5:15 and PLAY AT 5:30 Getting dark earlier and earlier fellow dg'ers!

if someone would have posted that there was a game on i would have shown........nothing was on the calender ....i check during the day as well......if this is chessguys responsibility i am highly disappointed.......plus i will whip u in chess as well ...... plse keep calender posted for us slow rec. players as we are not of your professional caliper asses....

Brett, I'm still not sure how to put stuff on the calendar. I put that we'd be playing Klein this week on last weeks dubs results post. You see we're going to be at Tyrrell the ***NEXT 2 WEEKS*** 5:15. You driving up to Brooks this weekend?

okay iguess your right ....i forgot about those 2 weeks notices....i kick myself in my own nutsack.......ouch!!!!!!.unfortunatly i wont be able to do brooks this weekend ,im tring to line up some october tourneys or end of sept. weekend ..... could use some help tring to find tourneys.....and who is going ....good luck neal & roy ,fuzzy and all you gt slingers, i know you will represent us well.... also on another note ... tonight

how much to join,what are my benefits in joining,is there dues like a union and who runs it ....... and my wife wants to know are there going to be other wives there tonight 1 mo thing im going play klein today about 2 pm that is all

yes familys will be there. $10 membership. $10 t shirt. benefits - 1 buck off minis, free mulligans, other benifits are being worked out. $10 membership is the basic, we are still working on other membership "levels" Membership benifits the dg community ex.. free food and drinks at golden triangle events, maintenance of courses, organized events like players championship, bag tag challenge, promotion of the sport, new courses etc.... Membership dues are once a year, We do have fundraiser events that put money into the coffers and payout is in gift certs. I am Pres. Roy is tres. Kevin is Sec. Fuz is tyrrell 's course rep. dustin is kleins rep, roy is the island rep. All members are encouraged to seek sponsorship whether it is gift certs, free product, or cash. This helps in making the events bigger and better which in turn will bring in more out of towners to play as well as get more locals into tourney play. I'll see you tonight.
