We had 8 golfers out yet again tonight for doubles. I want to apologize to anyone who arrived after we'd already flipped. We found out tonight with only 2 groups on a card it got dark pretty quick. The group decided to go ahead and flip and so we flipped away, not with the intent to exclude anyone. We will play Tyrrell Park again next week with a teeoff time of 5:15 p.m. Darkness draweth nigh!

1st Place Danny & Fuzzy--50 (-10) ties course record (Ed & Neal)
2nd Place Kevin & Neal ----54 (-6)
T3rd Place Vance & James--55 (-5)
Dustin & Kenny--55 (-5)

David Vance wins the CTP (Hole #1) for $12

***Note***As it turns out, a playoff was not necessary for outright 2nd Place. (initially won by Dustin & Kenny over Neal & Kevin) No one on our card added up their score and It was assumed by some that our team had tied with Dustin & Kenny at -5. ( Little did anyone know that Vance and James had actually shot -5 also) We shot -6 and didn't snap to it. Well, what to say now? As I look at our play in our minis as somewhat casual, I think a penalty for everyone on our card for not adding their score up is a bit extreme. I will assume and accept a penalty for my team and say to Dustin & Kenny, "my bad" and OOPS!!! Not expecting the money back but would be a nice gesture. Please post your thoughts. Is a good lesson, that's for sure.

***Please Note***Above scores are the correct scores shot on the round EXCLUDING any penalty strokes.

David and I didn't shoot our best rounds but stayed with you guys. As some of you guys may have noticed my game has been improving quickly, so you open players better watch out because now that I'm holding the #7 bag tag I'm questioning bypassing intermidiate and taking you open players out. Now, I'm not sure my game is there yet, but after beating Ed in the playoff for his tag I have a new found confidence in my game. See ya'll on the course.

TAGS CAN'T BE WON IN A PLAYOFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure if either of you knew this. Sorry to rain on your parade, James.

I was under the impression that we could do whatever we wanted with tags. I told Ed that I wanted to play off and that we didn't have to if he didn't want to. Ed said that he didn't want to and Matt gave him a hard time about it so he played me for it. I guess no one really knows the rules for tags but someone needs to write up definite rules and print them out for everybody.

Dustin never did write up some rules for us on the bag tags like other more organized clubs do. Ed did just what he needed to do to keep his tag and that's get a tie. I'll be back with my #9 tag whenever I hear we have electricity in Beaumont.

tags are anarchy dammit!!!!!!! do with them what you want. They are to bet with without cash. Play MFin disc golf and let the tags fall where they may!!!!!! PS a tie is not a win but if you play off there is a winner. quit making it so fu@kin hard!!!!!!!!There are no playoffs unless the players want to play off. The rules are posted on a earlier thread. Read up!!!!!!!!! I think there are 3 or 4 rules.
