Scott "Fuzzy" Linthicum hits a skipper ace with his Gremlin on Hole #1 at Klein this past Friday. He and Will were practicing some throws out there and Fuzzy puts one in! I hear he hit some chains and the basket on 2 other throws.

Yeah, as if hole #1 at Klein is a hard ace or something! Right back at ya. :D I've got room to talk on this one folks. Check the archives!

If you hit an ace in practice is it a real ace? Its not like in a real game where you only have one throw. Multiple throws increase your odds at hitting your target. I'll give ya half an ace on that one fuzz.

Aww come on now give him some credit! I don't want the first Ace I ever witness to not count! It was an awesome throw anyway, he hyzered a Gremlin aroudn the trees there and he called it as soon as it left his hand. Just a couple of throws later he tosses a firebird that went in the basket and skipped out damn near clear across the path to the bridge. He rattled chains on a couple of other tosses, hit the pin several times, and skipped JUST behind the basket I dunno how many times.
Most importantly, he helped me out with my form and let me toss some of his plastic, including his CE Valkyries!

OK,
Do we have to go through this again...... An ace is an Ace for sure..... But a practice Ace means more if it was your first throw on the hole of practice. An unwitnessed Ace counts.. To You.... Because i went out and Aced all 18 holes at klein one afternoon, Damm i wished someone was there to have seen it.
That being said, Congrats fuzzy on the Ace

Doesnt really matter. I dont put a whole lot of stock in aces anymore, although no matter how it goes down it still feels good. But i would trade them all to have a decent putting percentage...lol
For those who want to keep a tally on it though i have 15 total. 3 ofthem were not first shot and only 1 was hit during tourney play. This one was actually the first one that took me more then 2 shots.
So, do I have 1 ace??? Do i have 12 aces???? Do I have 13 1/2 aces??? Do I have 15 aces???? I 'll just call it 15 and let yall keep hatin'...hehehehehe

I see a serious drought in there somewhere! And just how many of those 8 were "practice" throws? Hummm? He uses the #8. That number sounds strangely familiar?!

2 of those 8 were second throw aces. And yes there was a big drought, it came around the time i stoped playing for almost 2 years. Then I learned how to play disc golf and those lucky overthrown shots (i believe you are familiar with those  ) didnt happen as often since I was sticking the drives up against the pin

Lets try to keep the hole in one news section for in play holes-in-one. The more shots in a row someone takes at a hole the greater chance they have of making it. In my opinion it's not a newsworthy hole in one if it wasn't made on the first shot of a hole in play.

Just for the record I did not ask nor care to have this particular ace posted on the front page. Practice aces imo also do not belong on the front page, hell they barely deserve to be mentioned on the board....lol

Yeah, wouldn't want to use up web space. Especially with the rash of aces we have here locally. You guys really get me. Unreal!

If it's a problem, why don't you pay to host your own site ?? Then, you can write up anything you want.

I didn't say it was a problem, Willis. I have enough on the main page now already, right? Just come on down to Conroe for a whoopin'. I'm actually thinkin' about playing Advanced so no one has any excuse why I beat them. JK :-D
