Bigger question...where were you at Beeville, Neal ?? I wanted to play for a tag & you were a no show.

Neal is a punk anyway...Had you beat him he would have pulled his crybaby act and made up some excuse as to why he wouldnt give you his tag....err well that is what he pulled today anyway. Funny how the biggest crybaby about tags of all has to lie to keep a tag...actually it is very fitting that he of all poeple would bitch and cry about evrything related to tags and how everyone owes him thier tag (you know like when Tim didnt even play the same courses as him yet Tim was appearently a pussy in his eyes for not giving him te #1 tag) yet he will pull out any excuse on earth to keep his precious tag...lmao Ya'll should have seen him pitching a hissy fit on the course...classic!!!

Wish I had seen that ! :-P The Vic open is third weekend of Feb. You need to try & come in , Fuzz. I think Jeff will come & maybe Roy & Rufus. We'll go play Beeville, too. That course has come a long way in the last year & is very fun.

I have almost convinced myself into not playing any tournies anymore(well home course tournies i would i guess) Competition is not fun to me anymore. I guess since I cant really play to the level I used to kinda took the thrill out of it.(not that I was ever any good in tournies, but DG in general) Couple that with the possibility of non-member fees going up to $8 per tourney and I hated paying the $5 so I definatly dont wanna pay 8...lol

as for tim not giving up his tag at states, that was my decision, not tims. It would have been unfair since they played a different holes than the rest of us. Neal a crybaby?...........noooooooo, there is no way a badass dger is gonna cry over a tag, especially when he is the best in the area.

Jeff, you told me that his was up for grabs and I guess you changed your mind when I said he played one different course. It's not a big deal but anyone ever think of comparing the 2 courses we did play? I suppose not. I never had a problem with the #3 tag as I understood the situation of the different course. Everyone I talked to said that his was not in our pool.

OK so Fuzzy and Matt get out to the Island and assume that we are doing bag challenges. I was under the impression that the person with the higher bag tag must challenge the lower tag in casual play? Fuzzy says, that someone randomly decided that tags are "always" up for grabs even in casual play. Does this mean if someone has a hurt arm and is just messing around on the course that they are obligated to play for their tag? Does this mean that if a person is just wanting to get in a practice round and doesn't want to do a tag challenge then they don't have that option? Does this mean that if one is feeling poorly and is not up to a bag tag challenge then they are forced to? I was under the impression that the (female part) rule was in effect. I'll never dodge a challenge as long as I know there is one. It seems real simple to say "I challenge you for your tag" or "tags are up, right" before a round. I had my tag displayed and ready to go, even saying to Rob, "let's watch and see if they're gonna challenge me for the #3 tag". Sure nuf, they didn't!
I'm playing a major laid back round, not really taking anything seriously and then Fuzzy on hole 17 says" Neal, you're fixin to lose your tag" Gee, I never heard a challenge issued. TOUGH LUCK!!! And besides, if there had been a challenge there'd have been a lot more shorter putts needing to be attempted and might I say a score announced at least every 5 or six holes!!!!
Bag tag challenges are only mandatory in minis on the same card, and in tournaments all are pooled and redistributed based on results, yes ON SAME COURSES. Tim rightfully got to keep his at States. I never once felt like we didn't follow tag guidelines or rules on that one. Everyone I spoke to told me the same thing, if a player is playing even a single different course during a tournament that his tag is pooled differently.

Blah blah blah... "Had i known there was a challenge i would putt better" give me a break you threw up a couple lackluster putts , of which the first one went in but flipped out and you made the second one, on holes 17 and 18 ----AFTER----- the tags were brought up and you knew you were gonna lose so that you could play this whole thing off by saying you werent trying.....You know damn good and well had you played worth a crap you would have been on here all day and probably had a front page story talking about how you won and successfully defended your crap tag etc etc...But you lost and for the sake of your ego ,since obviously a bag tag is what defines you as a man, you had to pull any excuse in the world to try and hold on to it. Dont pull this "well what if someone is hurt " crap either because that is totally irrelevant to this situation, or maybe it is not, maybe you really need to know so that you can pull out that excuse when you feel your manhood slipping away. "I told Rob blah blah before the round" So in other words in your mind you knew all along that you were a big puss. The bottomline here is that you are a crybaby and proved that the other day at PI. So run along with your number 3 tag, or do you claim the fake #2 tag still, and hide and fish for excuses cause no one really wants that tag anyway.

Fuzzy, whatever! I'm sorry your poor play lately has pushed you into trying to make others feel bad. Right, like I've said anything about my 2 strong defenses of the #3 tag in the last 2 minis when I put the whoop-ass on all ya'll. You can take the tag and stick it where the sun don't shine. I haven't seen a single post on here agreeing with what you say about tags being automatically up for grabs in casual play with no challenge issued. I sure as hell was being sneaky at the Island. (If that means not asking YA"LL if ya'll want to challenge ME for the #3 tag). That is Bass-ackwards!!! I was in no hurry to relinquish the #3 tag but oh well, no challenge no taggie!!! Bahahahahahahah "I challenge you for your tag" Seems such a simple thing to say!

I have never witnessed Neal play anything but to win. I'm betting this was to cover up his mediocre play that day. I wasn't there but this is my observation of the situation. For the last month or so since rita we've been playing for tags anytime they are present. I don't think that the scenerios presented would likely come up and if they did , Im sure the card would understand (or in the case of feeling under the weather, not want to play with some one who is sick.) go with the flow, if you truly were playing a major laid back round, not really taking anything seriously then it shouldn't matter and you could have played the next day and either got it back or whatever. By the way, what tag did you end up with? Well, it dosen't really matter because this sounds like crying over spilt milk and then pointing fingers. oh well then, carry on!!!!

I was just informed that it is my jealous envy of the Big Cheese that has me posting things about him. Has nothing to do with him being a complete asshat and pussy on the course. I am jealous that I cannot play to his level and that makes me so irrate that I have to come on here and spew lies about him. Should I refrain from posting about his royal punkness as to not fuel the jealous rage within me????

Jeff, I actually don't even know if I lost the round. SCORES WEREN'T BEING ANNOUNCED and there were gimme putts from all sorts of ranges. I knew the whole round my tag was not up for grabs. My play that round nothing to do with that fact. Jeff, when you say that tags have been up since the Hurricane I believe you are talking about the minis we've had. Are we actually at the point in these darn things where a higher tag # doesn't have to actually issue a challenge to a lower tag in casual play? Tell me, cause I don't know!!!

If you play in a group and tags are present (which they should always be if you have one) tags are up for grabs. I don't think it was officially announced, but it is how all the rounds I have played since rita.

By the way guys, you must say exactly what your score is after every single hole or you have cheated and forfeit the round. This is the way of the Cheese and you must abide by it or you are a cheater and are lying about your score. OH wait he may have changed that cheese rule to "your score total must be told atleast 5 to 6 times per round". I forget. Neal what is that exact rule again????
Cheesehead doesn't need an eraser cause he uses dissapearing ink.
I have never played a full round of singles DG where my tag was not up for grabs.
And I dont need anyone to tell me what their score is, because I keep track of it. And if I lose track of their score, I ask them.
CONROE is near, GT needs to represent in ALL divisions. Which means we need a pro, so I nominate Fuzzy.

Jeff, how many rounds have you played after Rita, cause I haven't even seen you on the course once! Are you telling me that you played on a card where people had tags and ya'll just started playing not once mentioning that tags were up for grabs and then you swapped at rounds end. Since when have we done it that way. Gee, I wonder why I was under the impression that a higher bag tag had to challenge the lower tag in casual play? Or simply say something like "tags are all in, right guys"? Maybe it's because THOSE WERE OUR FRIGGIN' RULES!!! I beg everyone's freakin' pardon if I missed that announcement that I'm sure everyone and his brother but me is aware of! Oh, Jeff because that's how you did your rounds that's now the law! Somehow having a hurricane has magically changed the way things are done?! Insane!
Fuzzy, besides you, every single other person I've ever played with announces their score or someone on the card is sure to ask what others made. It's called keeping score. It's something that's done in sports. Do you think they should just sorta flash the basketball score up on the scoreboard every quarter or something. You seem to always be so non-chalant about things. For someone who has been around disc golf as long as you, you should at least know that it is commonplace to state your score after each hole unless you feel you are above that.
the only rule is to don't be a pussy
if you played a whole round, and you weren't hurt, and no one said " We aren't playing for tags because of XYZ" then dont be a pussy

If you dont already knwo my score then ask. Has nothing to do with being above anything, i call out my score when i want to or if soemone asks, if it happens on every hole fine if not then fine too. Is there something wrong with being non-chalant on the course??? I dont care that is why I am that way, i am not there for the same reasons as you are. I dont feel the need to announce to everyone (loudly i may add) what shot i am on everytime i shoot and what my score is everytime i finish a hole. I knwo my score which is really all that matters, if you want to know ask or sit there and listen for when i do say it.
You dont get it and never will....

Oh, so now you chime in, Dustin. I knew they wanted to challenge me for my tag and I was also right when I figured they wouldn't issue a direct challenge. That's why I showed Rob my tag and said, "watch, let's see if they challenge me for my tag". Dustin, just bring your butt out for another whoopin'! Today 4:20!! or Thurs! I'm just not sure how it is that I pussed out when no one ever challenged me for the tag. It is sad that we are this far into the tag season and still things aren't clear and things are getting changed magically after a Hurricane. Just put the tags away and let's start putting some $$$$ on this shit! Shall we? Now there's a direct challenge!

Fuzzy, I don't recall ever accusing you of being a cheater. I just know that if scores aren't stated every couple of holes then there is liable to be a mistake down the line. Gee, everyone, I'm real sorry for not relinquishing my tag on a round where no challenge was issued. I must say, however, that upon being challenged directly or am on a card challenge then the tags will be distributed appropriately. I do love the attention guys, even if I am getting ragged on. I'm just not so sure Matt is as bent out of shape about this as Fuzzy is.
Just remember this, I offered the tag to Matt and he declined, albeit because I'm sure he thought I'd pout and throw a hissy fit. :-)
Kevin, sorry I missed you in Beeville but I'd surely have beaten you. JK That Avalos is one tough cookie, eh? He is officially the worst bagger ever in the history of PDGA. He is a good guy, though.

yep, my tags in everytime I play and I've been playing 2-3 times a week untill this week. Playing out at the island the other day with fuzz and aj and those guys, everyone knew what was up. Maybe you havn't been playing? i don't know. Don't jump my ass, If you are as good as you think, tags wouldn't matter and would always be on the plate. Nothing has changed. before rita I played every casual and mini with tags in so nothing is new to me. I think this only effects those who covet their tags. As for keeping score, get a scorecard and be the official pencil(whipping) scorer, I don't know. I usually don't start inquiring about scores untill the 8th or 9th hole. If someone is scoring the round I usually don't know what I'm shooting untill after the round. (I kinda know but don't pay attention). To solve the delima, why don't you start an anal retintive league where all those who have all these quirky problems can play and do the anal thing?(that just dosen't sound right!!!!) You might end up doing the anal thing by yourself but you would be happy. I say," Just play the game and pull the valk outa your ass, have fun and trade tags. Its not like they mean anything but ego, (and we know you have a lot of that). I'll swap my tag and go from 6 to 47 in a day trading tags 3-4 times. quit trying to be the alpha male and just run with the pack, you'll have more fun. And remember what I have told you before, choose you battles well, the community is watching!!!"
