Will you just look at those first 2 weak main page posts. I mean come on, Jeff. How 'bout some Night Golf Mini results? Is the next one gonna be in 2 weeks? I had some time on my hands (as usual) and saw that a disc golfer could've played in 49 tournaments in Tx (1 in Shreveport) to date in '05. Surely that's the most any 1 state could offer a disc golfer.

Pretty sure i'm going and i'm trying to talk Rufus into going also. See ya there Kevin - are you playing as crappy as I am? I'm gonna get embarrassed in Advanced :(

Ransom, I didn't know you taught a CHL class - I'll look you up when it is time to renew. Your avatar =

Yeah Roy, hope to see yall out there. I just haven't been able to play much. Therefore, I am the suck. The desire kinda goes away in the winter when there are other things I like to do more...like chase ducks around. Anyway, it's worth the chance at the ace pot to go.

Well, I just found out that Jarred has a band audition on Saturday and won't be able to go. Can someone give an Intermediate bagger a lift?

what kinda lift are you looking for? crack? crank? a lot of energy drinks? what? :-P

I can't believe your not stepping up for conroe!!! Why not play advanced? SKEEEEERED?

Oh god, Neal on crank? That's an image I could have done without. Can you imagine? Plowing through 18 holes in 35 minutes, running behind his disc while it's flying through the air...

I really have considered stepping up to Advanced this tournament because of the ease of the course. However, I'd like another title or two? 'Cause they'll certainly be hard to come by in Advanced. I'd hardly say that a 115 for 2 rounds is smokin'. I shot 124 the first time, then 115. Under par for the tournament is my goal but under 100 would be nice! Everyone bring their tags.

Is that Jarreds car that you ride around in ??

'Cause they'll certainly be hard to come by in Advanced.

That's an understatement.

I've actually discussed with Jarred that he may get the car around the time he begins to drive. :-) I've done a whole lotta drivin' this year. 20,000 miles :-| See ya this weekend, Willis. Play well! What do you say we both play Advanced and get the payout higher? Nah.

I think Bobo and Wes are going also. I just got off the phone with Russell "coach" Gill and he said he is going to head over for the tourney. It looks like GTDG is going to make up a good portion of the field. BRING YO GAME!!!!!!!!!!

I talked to Wes about Making a GTdiscgolf.com Banner for this weekend in Conroe!! I think that would be cool for all of us to hang out around our club Banner and represent our area!! Hey fuzz if you have any art suggestions for the logo, E-mail wes!! I think you can get his E-mail adress from the phone list!!

Peace

Please sign up early to make certain you have a spot. This one is looking to possibly fill and I would hate to see someone get turned away. I doubt Gimp will turn anyone away but not only does it help him for people to signup early it guarentees your spot AND gets you a players pack. So help a TD out and goto www.titledisc.com or contact Gimp at 832-279-8084.

So far looks like a good GT crowd going.....

Jeff (playing with the big boys now)
Bagger Wise (taking advantage of his last intermediate event)
Neil (who still in intermediate cause he shoot's 750's with his 950's)
Ed (defending REC champion from last year.... MOVE UP)
Kenny (this course is likely to give him an ACE)
James Rogers (playing REC but will be moving up soon - bagger)
Hippy John (what can I say about Hippy?)
Lucky (even he's hoping to get lucky and hit the ace pot)
Russel Gill (heard he might go, he was an $85 winner at the Ace Race, watch out)
Rufus (probably play intermediate, unless Roy calls him a puss! I'd play int. lol)
Roy (we will be buddies on the last card in advanced, lmao)
DG (if youve seen me play Klein lately, you know I'll be on the last card in Adv.)
Wes and Bobo are going too?
K-Dub Willis, a GT'er at heart will be there, but he doesnt know why! lol

Of course, we have our two biggest baggers of the GT that bag down so hard they dont even show up..... Scott "Fuzzy" and the big arm of the GT Matt Schion

We should all give a round of applause for these two special players, they practically bridged the gap from the old school DG'ers in this area pre 2000 to the new school DG'ers post 2000. I guess their job is done, lmao.

And what about Tommy and Robert, its a $1500 ace pot?

And if Fuzzy or Matt make it out, better bring Robert Walters to bring home the ace money.

TRob hurt his ankle so no go, poor baby, we should all send him a get well card.

Hadnt heard from D-Vance, someone needs to call him.

If I left anyone out, sorry, im in a hurry.... BUT VERY IMPORTANT

************************************************** ***************

This tournement is filling quickly, to avoid any hassle or problems, sign up on TITLEDISC.COM sometime today, tomorrow, or post here that you cant but still want to go, maybe we can reserve a spot.

I may be in attendence but it is doubtful that I will be playing.

I havent talked to Matt but I would doubt he is going.I'll remind him today and maybe him and T2 will want to go.

Rob is in Mississippi, so he wont be going.

Tommy hates large acepots, not sure why but Tommy once told me he breaks out in uncontrolable shakes and sweats when the word is even mentioned

Robert fell into a rather large pile of Mardi Gras beads and has yet to work his way out of them. From what I hear his hand is starting to surface and has been reaching for a disc but cant seem to reach it yet....hehhehehe

What up with Tim???? I wasnt under the impreesion that he was a crybaby  Buck up beeotch and get to the course, you could hit an ace on half those holes standing on one leg

Yo Sturm, this may be a great chance to make your tournement debut. Hell you may even be fortunate enough to crack your first ace out there and make a cool $1500. How sweet of a tournement debut would that be!!!

David Vance is going to the LA State Championships with a knee that looks like a grapefruit. I'm driving up on Sat. morning if anyone wants to ride along, or would care to swing by and pick me up. ;) Playing Klein today!!! Beautiful weather. Will said he's not going. Jarred actually started crying last night when it hit him that he'd be missing the tournament with the course with the ace runs on it. Sssshhh don't tell him I told you that.

Oh way to make me regret not going tomorrow! Especially since I've had 2 REALLY close calls recently, about a foot long on hole 1 with my XS, and skipping my beast about a foot in front of #11's basket, chain high, with a sidearm shot. Watch, I swear, my first ace will happen when I'm playing a solo round. Hmm, for that matter, I aced #4 the other day while playing solo! ;-) Yeah, that's the ticket.

Maybe I'll get one one of these days. Not really concerned with it so much as practicing my putting, and learning what to do with all these damn shots I've been learning. Let's see, my backhand needs ssome evaluation, my sidearm is getting pretty darn consistent, as are my upshots with my Roc, Wasp and Cobra, I got the short range pancake going pretty well, I'm working on roller shots with my Pro Wraith forehand and forehand, and I picked up a new one playing with David the other day, I guess it's called a thumber roller or scoober roller from the way it's held with the thumb in the rim? Then there's that weirdo dart putt that I think I saw D. Wise doin. My goal, right now, is to learn as many shots as I can absorb, find out what to do with them, and then get halfway proficcient with them. Maybe THEN I'll head out for a tourney. First thing's first though, gotta get that backhand drive consistent, so that it doesn't seem like an ACCIDENT when I make it through the tunnel to the basket side of the path on 18.

Let's go represent GTDiscgolf!!! Can any golfer in Int. break 100 for the day? A round in the 40s would be sweet. Hopin' to keep the ball rollin' guys. Good Luck to everyone playing tomorrow!
