I am betting that will be the most wind we will play a tourney in. Scotty is trying to get the official wind speed and max gust for the island area.

I hope someone can find out what the windspeed was, that was surely an experience!

I've been on the hunt for the windspeeds with no luck so far. It seems the WeatherBugs in the area were destroyed during Rita and have not been repaired or replaced. The intown sustained winds were supposedly 25mph with gusts over 30mph. I think it is pretty safe to say that the Island was at minimum 35 mph with gusts exceding 40mph.

Glad the tourney went off so well. Wish I coulda made it, though. Vic Open is this weekend so had to save some $$. Congrats to Roy on his win in advanced !! Also, looks like you had a pretty darn good weekend too, Scotty . Congrats !

Thanks Kev and Scotty :mrgreen: I wanted to win that one most of all the tourneys :twisted: I can't do Victoria tourney - the All-Star game is in Houston that weekend. I might do Powell though.
