Professional disc golfer, Timmy Gill, has just lauched this website which will be bringing disc golf footage from around the world right to your computer screen! There is already a news broadcast from the first National Tour event this year, The Memorial, in Scotsddale, Az.

Please pass along the link to this website to everyone you know. We need to do all we can to support those that are bringing Disc Golf into the mainstream.

very cool... I watched the clip from the Memorial, and I have to say, I am amazed, even the pros get some flutter in their putters. Made me much more comfortable with where my game is at for the amount of time I've been playing, seeing them miss shots the same way I do, and seeing them celebrate good ones from distances that I know I've hit too. Oh, and... some of those lady golfers... KAWAI! :shock:

I think it's obvious that disc golf has EVERYTHING needed to become one of the next big breakout sports. Great learning curve(easy to pick up, hard to master) accessibility, affordability, comradery, and overall very addictive qualities. I believe disc's big break will happen pretty soon. I don't mean like next year it'l be all over ESPN, or that it will be an event at the next summer games - rather i think that within 5-10 years, disc golf will have garnered the attention of the masses to some extent. I look forward to the day when I hear something like "You had a first run champion Wraith? Wow, that's cool... I have an old wraith in my bag, it makes a nice floaty midrange." :wink:

I haven't been playing as long as, well, as long as any of you, with the exception of Lester, but I am happy to be involved in the sport at a time that may end up being pivotal to it's evolution and mainstream success. I am certainly a johnny-come-lately to this sport of nearly 30 years, but I am proud to be even that. So here's to the old guard, and the younger veterans, all of you who share your hard earned knowledge with us of the new blood. Truly we are not ****... but with your help, maybe we could be.

Sorry for the rambling... just exciting to see something like this going on.
