Just wanted to inform everyone that our friend, Frank Breaux is in ICU at the Medical Center. He was injured at his job yesterday. Not sure of the object that did it (some sort of strap or something), but somehow it stuck in his neck, severing his aorta. They did emergency surgery last night and were afraid that he might have a stroke during surgery, but it had to be done. He hasn't woke up since he was put under yesterday evening and they have no response from him. We hope and pray that everything will turn out alright. I'm not sure of all who knew him, but either way keep him in your thoughts please.
We are keeping in touch with his uncle, so any news that we get, we'll let you know.

Those that were around for the Klein project when we first started, know Frank. Frank did most of the bending and chain cutting at Thomas's for the baskets. He put alot of blood and sweat into that course for us even though he rarely plays.
Hope everything works out.
Frank pretty much built every basket at Klein.
As soon as you get more news, let us know......

Alright everybody. Just got word that Frank is up now. He woke up early this morning and couldn't talk, but was writing notes to everyone. And NOW, he's eating mashed potatoes and flirting with the nurses. They only have him hooked up to an IV.
Thanks to all of you for your prayers!

Chuck was on the last card with us today at the Island, and on hole 3, he started in on a story about a guy who was cutting some wire at the port over there across the water, when some metal banding kicked back and gashed his neck. Nobody else on the card knew what I was talking about when I said that HAD to have been Frank Breaux. I'd never met him, so I couldn't describe him to Chuck, who said he looked like a cross between D-Wise and Bobo with long hair(I think that was his description but it may have just been a joke) but the incident he described was the exact same as what John told me. I told Chuck about him and the work he did at Klein, and Chuck said HE'd bent a lot of metal for baskets with Thomas Bertrand too.
I'm glad he's doing better.

It's got to be the same story. I mean it happened on the same day, etc. Chuck works at the port there too, so he saw him right after it happened, said it was a mess, but he didn't realize how serious it was.
