Jarred and I are heading up to Conroe in the morning. Gonna get 2 or 3 rounds in before the tournament on Saturday. Hope to see some of you there. Who knows? Maybe I can actually cash in Advanced this time. :-| These sidearms I'm throwing seem to be working well. :D Gonna be letting some fly this Saturday...and letting some "rip" as well.

Jarred and I were the only GT dg'ers that played McDade Park.

Jarred shot a great 1st round of +5 with 3 birdies and I shot an Even with 2 birdies.

I shot a -5 the 2nd round placing last cash in Advanced with 3 others. -12 for the day won Advanced. Jarred slipped out of the cash with a +12 on his 2nd round.

***Ace Alert***

Jarred and I had just got to the course when they were doing the players mtg. so we didn't get much warm up. My starting hole was #5 and so I was doing some putting on hole #4s basket and decided I'd walk up to 4s tee and throw a couple of drives. On my 1st drive of the day I threw my Pro Line White Leopard (you know the one, signed by Schultz) in for the Ace. It was in fact as I remarked to hiim, "my next Ace disc". 2 seconds after it went in we heard, "2 minutes!". I mean, I've heard of Aces being hit on one's first hole in a tourney or a mini but it was truly surreal for one to go in on my 1st throw of the day!!! As irony would have it, Larry Kruse was sitting on 4s teebox at the time and he remarked, "you probably wasted your Ace, man". Later in the 1st round Larry throws in an Ace on hole #12 which earned him $330! As for me, no $$$ but I was sure stoked to hit my 14th Ace, not in a round of DG but boy was it ever on a 1st throw. That's 8 of 14 aces with Leopards.

True. True. I just remember after you, me, and Ray bogied 4 and 5 that you hung it up after that. You may have edged me out, though. ;)
