What is par at Klein and Tyrrell Park? I'm assuming they are all par 3. Also, what is considered a pretty good score at Pleasure Island? I shoot even or 1 or 2 under usually. Best was 5 under.

The par score on disc golf is generally 54. The only reason that there is a par is for ease of scorekeeping. Take 3 on everything you shoot even which is 54, plus or minus of that and do the math.
Pleasure Island has pars on the tee signs, that was done a long time ago and we aren't sure why they even put a par number on the holes. I guess they were trying to make the course have a professional look to impress the pleasure island commission at the time.

all the courses are par 54....all holes are par 3...and even,1,2 under are all great for pleasure island:))))...of course this is an amature speaking...but from what i understand that is good...
When I used to play a 9 hole course we'd made up at camp, some were par 4 holes, and there was a par 2 hole.
Somewhere I saw a breakdown on individual holes for courses and the averages. It'd be cool to see statistics like that.

Well I cannot give an extremly accurate hole by hole par for each course we have but I do know about what the World Class Par(WCP) is for all of them. World Class Par is what a 1000 rated player ( Scratch Golfer/ zero handicap) would likely shoot in normal playing conditions.
At Pleasure Island the WCP is 46 which is 14 strokes better then what the teesign par has for the course. Best known score ever in singles is -13 (41) shot a couple of times in 1994 and 1995 by 11 time World Champion Ken Climo(note- he also shot -13 in 150 class comp where all discs used weigh less then 150 g) In the last 8 years the best known score is -10 shot by Joe Hague not in competition. And the best competitive round is -8 shot by numerous people.
Tyrrell Park is roughly the same as PI at 46 give or take a half stroke or so. SInce some of the holes have been changed recently and the best witnessed non-coimpetitive score is -9 (45) shot by me a couple of weeks ago. Jason Rainey shot an unwitnessed non-competitive round of -10 (44) a few days later. The best competitive round was a -8 (46) shot by me during one of last years Summer Minis.
Klein Park, now this is just a guesstimate, is about a 47 possibly even as hard as 48 if played with all water and beyond and streets as OB. Some people do not play OVER the water as Ob which would likely take a stroke or 2 off the average score. The best witnessed round shot there is -6 (48 ) shot by me and played with all water and beyond as OB and streets etc. OB. This should not stand very long. No competitive rounds have been played at Klein yet.
Doubles records that I know of- PI is -13 shot by me and Ray Mason
Tyrrell is a -12 shot by Jason and James Rainey( i think)
Klein is -10 shot by me and Bubba Berry.

I take that back there was a coupple of competitive rounds held at Klein during the Winter Minis last year. The best score that i remember during those was a -3 shot by Joe Hague.

I think keith and I were -12 at tyrrell after 18 at the big money doubles, then went in the can on the last 9 and stopped getting birdies
was a while back though, i could be mistaken
me and keith shot a -12 and tied jason and james at terryl the same day

Two players team up. Each player throws a shot and both players take the best throw.
Ex: Player A throws drive into a tree, Player B throws a good shot. Both players play from Player B's disc.

I think the guys who won open were 13 down after 18 but i'm not positive on that.

If i remember correctly the Open winners were -9 after 18 and shot -7 on the next 9 to finish -16.
Not sure how records work as far as the reg 18 when people play 27, I would assume that doesn't count though but I could be wrong.

That would have been pre-dredge, unwitnessed, non-competitive,with cleats, low wind, cut grass, no skeets, Roberto.

Unfortunately, not, Rob. My work scedule hasn't been dg-friendly up til now. I've only been able to play one round at Victoria in 3 months. Victoria at speed limit is one hour & Corpus a little over an hour away. However, with longer days & a new bay system to sample this month, I should be able to make at least one round during week, maybe two. :D I'm also going to see if I can swing the four required dates during the second session of minis this year.

Nice.....
Funny stuff CypressTrout :) Is the water still there at PI??? I would not be surprised to see WCP at Klien close to 49/50 with any weather issues at all - little wind etc. There is plenty of OB to get into out there when played as the course was designed and as it will played at any Team D. event out there (hint hint, we are going to have a GCCS event out there, and in or over the street/water etc WILL be OB.

Got to play in Victoria today, Rob. That course has some long-ass holes, man !! I had to look like this  to see the baskets. The locals I was throwing with said that they were all on the long pins right now. I shot +4 (with 5 birdies). Fun course, though. Hey, gimp, do you know what the WCP is for Riverside in victoria on the long pin placement ?? Thanks, KEV.
