Ace on Hole 12 @ Klein

Brent Rider hit an ace on hole 12 at Klein on Saturday. That's the 3rd ace in a weeks span at Klein.

Brent was playing with a group from Mid County. The guy who aced old hole #9 @ Klein was on the card also.

Neil got an ace on hole 17 at Klein from the shorts today, too bad it was on his 2'nd try lost out on the 51 payout.

He also had to watch his course record at Klein fall to my bogey free 9 down :lol:

You beat me to it. That was a pretty ace - Neal hyzerflipped a beast into the wind from the shorts on #17 and it flattened out into the chains. How long is that hole? Thats like killing a squirrel with a 12ga. A hint of limburger hung around the basket as we approached to hole out. But it was sweet cause it was free and it didn't count, and he's lucky he didn't go OB and have to retee for some reason cause I think I could have gotten DG to second me on a foot fault call in that case, give him a warning and make him throw AGAIN. Now that would have been worth a writeup.

DG hit a couple of birds.

Thanks, guys. Was a fun afternoon of golf that's for sure! I remember playing with Brett Robertson in Conroe the 2nd round and watched him shoot -10; this was a similar thrill to watch.

Dustin shot uncharacteristically :D great golf converting 3 drop-ins, 3 20fters, 2 30 fters. and the putt of the day from 45ft for bird on hole 12. He hit the early trees on holes 4 and 17 and scrambled from the bushes on holes 13 & 14. Way to go, Dustin. If I'm gonna lose the shorts record then I'm glad to be able to watch it get eclipsed and well...throw a practice one on in. At least I still have a share of the doubles and longs record. 8-)

Dang, surely that ace was worth a buck anyway, huh, guys? :D Now I've got 1st, 2nd and 3rd shot aces. :neutral:

well, you left out the 25 footer for bird on hole 9 that went THRU the chains and out the back side
