The courses were mostly open and long and absolutely beautiful. It was very windy. Hard for me to say which was windier, Temple or the Island last year. This was just brutal!!! Got off to a bogey, bogey, double, double start to my 2nd rd. Jarred had a rough day but says he was getting some good backhand drives. I never would've imagined I'd see someone get a quadruple circle 11 on a hole.

I had a quadruple circle 11 at Hitchcock one year....lost ADV by one stroke too...sucks to be stubborn sometimes.

The Advanced divisions played Long tees at both courses and the other divisions played the shorts. There weren't however longs and shorts on every hole, though. The wind was just reaking havoc and the courses being so open it made it even worse. I seem to have this thing in tournaments where I absolutely must start off with a bogey on each round. :-? Nice to hear from you, Fuzzy. Hope all is well.
