View Full Version : OBs and Mandatorys
So a sign has been added to #15 making the tree's on the right Mandatory? Do any of the other holes have traditional mandatory play? and are there any other OB's besides the street and the creek?

#15 the tree on the right and the telephone pole on the left are mandatory, if you miss the mando you play from whichever one you missed and you are then shooting 3 (assumming you missed the mando off the tee, if not then just add the extra stroke and play from the mando).
Just to clearify for people: The water in the main ditch is OB AND if you go over the ditch and land on the other side of the water you are OB. You add one stroke and play from where your disc last crossed the OB line. The exceptions are holes #4 and #18 since you must cross the ditch.
#7 the water in the ditch behind the basket AND beyond is OB.
All parking lots and streets are OB.
Most of the OB's and the mandatoy are there for saftey reasons or to keep play within park boundries. So please respect them, play safe, stay within the park and have fun!

on hole 4 and 18, if your disc is complete surrounded by water consider that OB as well.

I am deleting this post so that there is no confusion on the rule. So if you read what i wrote before please disregard. Sorry for this confusion. :? 8)
hey, i played the new course layout today
i like it all really, except i think number 16's tee is more in the way now
i know there will be a mando on the tree, but someones gonna f*ck up and nail someone teeing off
i like 7 and 12 more now

I am somewhat worried about #16 teeing from where it does but the bottom line is that there is NO other place to put it. The original tee was basically unplayable and it HAD to go somewhere.

I do not like that rule on #4 Fuzzy..... I think if you chose to try and throw strait down on the tee pad side of the ditch to try and line up with the alley and then go from there should be ok. Thats just my opinion and if anyone in the league choses to play that way it is fine.... I do not know of anyone that has played it that way but i have heard some talk about it.

No big deal really. Since you guys run league and dont like the rule then consider it scratched. I have no prob with JUST surrounded by water on 4 and 18 being OB personally or for any design reasons.
So in the water or over the water is OB at Klein with the exception of holes 4 and 18 since you are teeing over the ditch. Cool
Maybe one day I will explain my screwy logic behind that confusing mess i deleted above....lol

I made 2 uber looking mandatory signs yesterday. They are treated 2x4 cut like an arrow, painted white with red mandatory letters on it. I'll try and get out there sometime this weekend and install them. Going to bring my ladder and put them up high so some asshat can't rip them off because they dont like the mando.
Sweet! Wish we could kick the asshat's asses sometimes. I know Tomwin would be down for a throwdown :)
