The divisions are tentative, depending on if any more players show next week, but here are the standings so far:

Round I

Open:
Dustin 44 - 11pts
Neal 51 - 9pts
Roy 53 - 6pts
James 53 - 6 pts
Matt 55 - 2pts
Jeff T. 55 - 2pts

Int:
Danny 53 - 9pts
Will 59 - 7pts
Russel 61 - 5pts
Jeff P. 63 - 3pts
Thad 68 - 1pt

Jeff and Thad may end up in Rec if enough players show up to form three divisions, and Danny better hope I don't move him up, lol.

That's good, keep the divisions competitive if everyone is ok with that.

We tried to get wise to play open, but he was chicken and wouldn't move up and well DGs round was just increadible. Can he do it again? we'll see.

D-Wise landed in the middle of the pack in open, just one shot out of 2'nd. But you can't make him move up cause he's playing for plastic.

anybody want to make a side game outa league and pitch in 10 bucks per person and play stroke instead of points? If you can make all four rounds your in. There will be no drops in this format and will make for a much more competitive series. I know DG has come out of the box running and has a good lead but all it takes is one bad round and hes back down in the pack. Winner take all. 10 bucks due wednesday if you want in and will be due at the first round of each additional league. No IOUs.

what in the HELL are yall talkin about? So whats the right scores? (not that Im in the running for anything.)

sturmgeist
05-03-2007, 07:17 PM
There's nothing wrong with the points or scores, they're there as they are on the scorecards, with the exception of the 2 point penalty to the open card for week 2.

sturmgeist

Since we're headed into week 3, I figured I'd give a rundown on the payout:

Open -
1st - $52
2nd - $31
3rd - $22

Intermediate
1st - $41
2nd - $26
3rd - $8

sturmgeist
05-03-2007, 07:49 PM
Week 4 I meant

dg
05-03-2007, 11:18 PM
how'd you come up with those payouts?

sturmgeist
05-03-2007, 11:35 PM
at Fuzzy's suggestion, I figured the payout 50/30/20 for Open, and 55/35/10 for Intermediate. The figures I came up with were:

open
1st 53.50
2nd 31.50
3rd 21

Int
1st 41.25
2nd 26.25
3rd 7.50

So i took the change from first and second places in both divisions and gave it to 3rd. In the case of INT, it gets 3rd enough to at least snag a DX disc. Any problems with that?

Thad had to go and screw up the ace pot huh? Oh well, it will build up.

ignore my comment
at the beginning of this thread the points didn't reflect Rufus' participation

sturmgeist

Ah yes... I'd fix that but i'm relying on DG and Fuzzy to make edits for me in these posts since I don't have mod priv.

I've got a suggestion. Since the open division has come down to a 4 way grab for 1'st, 2'nd and 3'rd, why don't the top 4 play on the same card????? Me, Roy, Neil and James???????????

chessguy
05-09-2007, 10:36 AM
Dustin, you'll be with your boyfriend but to get Roy away from his may be some task. j/k

Neal, you should really consider enrolling at texas agricultural & mechanical school. They survive on moral victories, too.

Congrats, Dustin.

He is gonna need to see the agreement he made in writing or have a witness to testify that he did in fact enter a verbal agreement with all of his alleged lenders.

I'll be up at the park around 10:30. I worked on 9 yesterday but didn't finish pulling the debris off the fairway. I'm hoping to work for 20 or 30 mins before starting the doubles round.

Thanks everyone for coming out and making such a hot miserable day into a fun time. I've got payout waiting for Neal and Thad. There were a few discs, shirts and towels sold after everything was over with too, so I've got another 50 bucks for club funds.
