Nice add there about the best drop round DG, after that win you definitely get to pat yourself on the back.

League I After Party

Klein Park, Saturday May 12th, 12 noon
We will be having our league party during the day at Klein for this League. Everyone is invited to bring food, barbeque pits, drink, family, and whatever else you feel like, within reason, for a good old grillin/awards ceremony.

Anyone wanting to bring food and a pit/grill would be advised to show up a little early to get things fired up and going. We'll eat and have our awards ceremony around noon, and after it's all taken care of, we'll have a round of flip doubles to top it off.

Hope everyone can make it out, I thought it would be more interesting than sitting and drinking in a bar or restaurant. I'm going to alternate between Beaumont and Mid County locations between leagues for as long as I'm running it, to make things fair.

Please clap loud for me in my absence.(or have a good laugh at my expense) ;) Where is my smiley panel? Jarred and I will be in Baton Rouge playing a tournament. Congrats to all the winners.

Hopefully I don't have to be present to get my prize?! :)

See you guys.

whoooo-hooooo!!!! Lets fire up dem pits and party!

Im bringing my kids and am going to put a little mini on for them while the big kids play the doubles round. All other children are welcome to play also. I have about 20 minis and will give them one at the end of the round as a prize.

What do people have that would be helpfull? Anybody have a canopy to put up? chairs and a couple fold out tables would make it nice. We could fill up a baby pool for the kids to play in. Ive got a couple 5 gallon bucks that we can fill up at the sinks and water fountain ( it'll take a few trips but would be nice for the kiddos).

Didn't I hear that open players not present to accept their cash by default donate it to tpark fund?

We also need to do at least a 20 min work session in the woods with everyone lending a hand. 20 mins of dragging out ground clutter. Easy , quick and with that many hands effective.
