Saturday June 16th, 8:00AM is when we will be out at Claiborne West Park clearing underbrush and small trees around areas that are needing to be cleared for the new disc golf course.
I want to get out there early before it gets too hot and only work for a few hours. This won't take up your entire day if you are thinking about coming. Honestly, we don't have really too much work to do but the more hands we have the faster it will go.
If you have a machette feel free to bring it because it will be your friend. We should have enough saws to do what we are needing to do so that won't be an issue. Pick up trucks if you have one would be a plus. If you have one and want to use it for hauling branches to the road you are welcome to bring it.
You will want to bring some gloves, maybe wear blue jeans although shorts would be fine. Some of the stuff is thick, I'm wearing blue jeans so as to limit the amount of poison oak that i may come in contact with.
We will also need someone to bring a push mower and or weed eater/trimmer. We have a little mowing to do in the woods near hole two's basket placement location once the underbrush is cleared out.
