Saturday, June 23rd will be when we are going to get out there and clean up. We will meet at 8AM to start and will have a little more time than I will have on tomorrow anyway. I think we will be able to get a few more people to make it out on the 23rd also.

There's supposed to be a cool front that moves through this thursday which will bring the humidity down in the mornings and make it clear of rain through the weekend if we are lucky.

Just a suggestion and i would do it myself if i could...

This rain is perfect for course design. One thing yall were not able to take into full consideration was standing water. It would be a good idea to run through the layout when saturated to make sure all placements and walking areas are in the best spots possible. I know you can do it when its dry but trust me when i say that scoping it out wet is the way to go. just my 2cents

when we looked at tee boxes and greens, we looked to make sure it wasn't lower than the surrounding area. Dosen't mean it all won't hold water.

Exactly...I figured yall paid attention to that but there is no better test then to actually see the water and where it is.

like I said we put it on the high ground so if the tees and greens are wet, everything is.

Yep, and if that is the case you might want to know that before holes start getting poked in the ground. There could be a better option so better safe then sorry.

I am not sure I will be able to make it. My mother in law is having some major complications in her cancer treatment and is requiring surgery tomorrow. I'll know for sure if I will have the time friday night saturday morning. Sorry.

I'll be leaving my house at 7:30 this morning which should put me there at 8 or 8:05 at the latest. If you don't see me where the current parking is at for the existing course, There's a parking lot just before you get to the playground with a covered pavilion. I think they might call it pavilion #2 but i'm not sure. That's going to be the new parking lot and location for hole 1 and it's where I will be parking today.

Thanks for all the help guys, good to see everyone out there.

Dustin and Will worked really hard cutting small trees and clearing stuff with me.

Maybe we will have more people who want a new disc golf course to come help next time. It's amazing to me that everyone wants to play but no one wants to put in the work.

I will schedule another workday, probably for saturday june 30'th maybe sunday i'm not sure. I will post something here.

If a new course dosen't motivate players I don't know what will motivate them. Sorry I couldn't make it. Family comes first. My mother-in-laws surgery went ok she is doing much better now. hopfully it gives us more time with her.

This weekend it is supposed to rain so I am not going to schedule a workday.

I might, however, go out there and do some work. If you would like for me to contact you to go out there and help when I do, please send me a private message or post here your contact information so that I can get in touch with you.
