1st Annual Big Money Doubles Series
Team Disaster Disc Golf Promotions is proud to present the 1st Annual Big Money Doubles Series! The series includes eight unsanctioned qualifying events leading to a C-tier Finale in early 2004 the Sunday after the DiscGolfStore.com Gulf Coast Championship Series Finale. Each BMDS event will feature two rounds of bring your partner doubles action, low entry fees and pick your plastic merchandise for the amateur cashers. Each 1st place team will receive a trophy.
Format:
· 1st round: Traditional Best Shot (Scramble) for the entire round. Pick the best shot between you and your partners shot and shoot from there until one of you holes out.
· 2nd round: The EVIL 6-6-6 format. Six holes of Traditional Best Shot, Six holes of Best Score (You play singles and take the best score on each hole between you and your partner), and Six holes of True Worst Shot (You and your partner have to BOTH hole out consecutively for the hole to be over – example, you ace and your partner hits a tree, you both play the tree shot with your team shooting 2).
While anyone may play in the Finale and compete for the regular payout, to compete for the Series Bonus Payout, you must compete in at least two of the eight qualifying events. Signups will conclude for the BMDS at 9:00 am sharp on the day of the event, so sign up early! You may sign up using www.titledisc.com, by mail, or at the event. Each event will be capped at 72 participants. We hope to see you there!

Q. Do I have to play all eight of the Qualifiers to play in the Finale? No.
Q. What is the Series Bonus Payout? $2 of each entry fee is applied to the Series Bonus Payout that will be awarded during the C-Tier Finale.
Q. How do I qualify for the Series Bonus Payout? To be eligible, you need to play in at least two of the eight Qualifiers. You do not need to play with the same partner.
Q. If I play less than two of the qualifying events can I still play the finale? Yes, however you will not be eligible for the Series Bonus Payout. You will be eligible for the C-Tier payout.
Q. How will the tour bonus money be paid? Cash to professionals, and merchandise of your choice to Amateur divisions.
Q. What percentage of the field receives cash or prizes? Open - 33% of field, Advanced - 40% of field, Intermediate – 40% of the field, Recreational 50% of the field.
Q. What percentage cashes in the C-Tier Series Bonus Payout? The same percentage of the field as the C-Tier payout.
Q. What rules apply? All PDGA rules apply along with any special conditions listed during the players meeting.

Q. Will the divisions use ratings? Yes, sandbagging will be limited by using current PDGA ratings as well as local ratings. To qualify for a division, both partners must have a rating lower than the maximum allowed rating (875 for Recreational men and 915 for Intermediate men). Anyone can play in the Advanced or Open Divisions. If a player has neither a PDGA rating or a HFDS rating the tournament director will help the player determine their division on an individual basis.
