Claiborne West Park Work

This Saturday July 7th at 8:00 AM we will be out at Claiborne West Park in Vidor to put together the new disc golf targets. We also have a little work of cleaning up tree branches that were cut down during the course clearing phase.

The following Saturday July 14th at 8:00 AM we will be setting the sleeves in the ground for the new course and on Sunday we will be installing the baskets and playing.

I would hope that we will have more people wanting a new course than just Dustin, Will and myself. We still have some work to do out there and the more people that help, the faster we will have a new course installed. Hope to see you out there.

I would if I could, My mother in law is going into hospice this afternoon and there is only a matter of days left. I'll have my kids and my sister in laws 2 kids for the weekend and the youngest is one and a half. ......Anybody wanna babysit while I build baskets? On top of terminal cancer and an unethical PIC, my wifes bestfriends husband attempted suicide over the 4th....drinking on anti depresents and anti anxiety perscriptions don't mix. I hope to help put holes in the ground and plant the sleeves, but I can't even commit to that yet. Sorry I haven't been able to help out that much, I'll make it up on the 2nd 9:-D

I'll be leaving my house at 7:30 and at the park at 8am. Today we will be meeting up front at the main office. If you don't see my truck there I may be in the park looking for the guy to let us into the building. In that case just try to find me.

We will be playing sometime next weekend. The park is extremely wet out there right now, hopefully the weather will stay pretty clear this week to give it a chance to dry out a little.

No tools required. 7:00am is when the guy that works there starts work. He gets off at 3:30pm so I would like to take advantage of as much time with him as I can.
